Board Features:

Huge Channel: The concave throughout the underside of the board allows water to flow quickly from nose to tail. Channels trap air and water under the board creating lift giving you increased speed on the wave. It also stabilizes the board giving you better planing and paddling.
Wide nose: The wide nose offers stability and helps with early wave entry and maintaining planning speed on the wave.
Staged Rocker: The low rocker in this board keeps you floating right on top of the water line making sure you paddle easily into waves without pushing to much water. Great for catching those smaller waves.
Added Width & Thickness: The extra width in the mid section has been pushed two thirds of the way up the board centering it right under where you lye. This plus the increased thickness in the middle allows for easy paddling, enhanced stability, early wave catching and helps maintain planing speed through flat sections.
Performance rail: Hard rails in the tail and nose area creates great hold in the wave and allows you to project out of your bottom turns.
Soft rail in the middle: The rail at the back is sharp, but then softens out to a nice rounded even rail. This allows the board to release from the wave easily allowing a smooth ride and less chance of catching the rail.
Pin tail: The sharp pin tail offers great hold in steeper wave faces and gives you a easier subtle swing dynamic when turning.
Fin Set Up: This board comes as a 2 + 1 Set up (two sides and a longboard box center) in all sizes off the shelf models. Side fins are Fcs1 or Fcs2 on PU boards.
Construction: The Egg 2.0 comes in PU and is the traditional construction of closed cell foam, stringer, fibreglass and polyster resin. Custom option is available.
Cloth: All boards feature 1 x 6oz + 1 x 4oz glass on deck and double 4oz underneath. With custom build we can add layers or change weights.

The Egg 2.0 is our latest board and is the result of combining our original Egg with the high performance round nose shortboard The Channel Hopper.

We had the idea of re-vamping the Egg shape that you all know and love, with some more technical and modern adjustments. The idea was to inject a bit of energy into an often somewhat forgotten shape.

The resulting board that Lee designed was quicker, more stable and now having shortboard rails it has improved the boards overall maneuverability. It also still catches wave very easyily like you would expect an egg shape too. However, it often feels like you can just put that nice smooth shortboard style turn in. The deck is quite flat but, the board had good progressive rocker underneath and in the nose. The Volume is very high so the board paddles well and if you want to move around the board it will stay afloat. The 6'4 is an incredible 50.12 Liters

The Egg 2.0 comes in the following sizes 5'8, 5'10, 6'0, 6'2 and 6'4.

Available in both off the shelf and as custom builds down to size 5'2".

I tested it at Surf Snowdonia! Which allowed me to surf the same wave over and over. Sooo much fun!
