What is a Mid-Length?? Good question, glad you had the balls to ask.

Essentially a mid-legnth surfboard is one that fits into that strange grey area lying somewhere between a shortboard and a Longboard. In general this is anything between 7'0 and 9'0 long and is quite a large demographic. Here at Custard Point we have many shapes that fit into more than one category technically. For example our 7'4 Retro Fish could be classed as a mid-length. However, for simplicity we leave that in with our fish range. Above are examples of our boards that lye solely in the  mid-legnth category.

In this way these boards are great fun. They generally catch waves easily because of the increased planing length then that of shortboards. And similarly so they are much more manouverable than longboards ie: boards over 9'0. So basically a great compromise and all-round board.

We can not say that about any other board. What makes it different is that it nose rides like a longboard but is wayyyyy smaller and more manageable.
